Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, your guide will meet you for a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park—a journey that takes you through vibrant landscapes and rural villages before arriving at the park gates. Often called the "home of elephants," Tarangire is famous for its majestic baobab trees, sweeping savannahs, and one of the largest elephant populations in East Africa. Once inside the park, enjoy your first full-day game drive, with picnic lunch served in a designated safari spot. Keep your eyes peeled for lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and more than 500 species of birds. During the dry season, the Tarangire River becomes a magnet for wildlife, making the park one of the best spots to witness dramatic gatherings of animals. As the sun begins to set, you’ll drive to your lodge/camp near the park, where you can relax and reflect on your first full safari day. Fall asleep to the distant sounds of the African night under a sky filled with stars.

Day 3: Tarangire to Central Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, depart Tarangire and begin your journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. The route takes you through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands, offering sweeping views of the crater rim, before you descend into the endless plains of the Serengeti. Wildlife viewing begins as soon as you enter the park, with chances to spot elephants, giraffes, antelopes, and big cats along the way. By midday, you’ll reach the Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley), one of the park’s most wildlife-rich areas. The Seronera River serves as a permanent water source, drawing large numbers of predators and prey throughout the year. This is one of the best places in Africa to spot lions, leopards, and cheetahs. After a picnic lunch, continue your game drive across golden savannahs and granite kopjes—famous for harboring lion prides. As the sun sets, arrive at your camp or lodge in the Serengeti, where dinner and a night surrounded by the sounds of the wild await.

Today is devoted entirely to exploring the heart of the Serengeti. With a full day of game drives, you’ll have the flexibility to follow the rhythm of the wilderness. At dawn, set out for a morning safari, when predators are most active and the golden light is perfect for photography. Watch for lions returning from the hunt, leopards lounging in acacia trees, and cheetahs scanning the horizon for prey. Return to camp for a hearty brunch and some relaxation, or carry a picnic lunch and spend the day deep in the park, maximizing your time in the bush. The Central Serengeti is teeming with life year-round: vast herds of wildebeest and zebras, giraffes browsing the treetops, elephants wandering in family groups, and more than 500 bird species filling the skies with color and song. In the late afternoon, enjoy another game drive as the sun dips low, casting a warm glow across the plains. Day 6 to 7: Nungwi Beach – Zanzibar
After your safari adventures, the next two days are reserved for pure relaxation on the idyllic beaches of Nungwi, located on the northern tip of Zanzibar Island. Known for its powdery white sands, turquoise waters, and vibrant village atmosphere, Nungwi is one of Zanzibar’s most beloved destinations. Spend your days at leisure: soak up the sun on the beach, swim in the warm Indian Ocean, or simply relax by your resort pool. For those seeking more activities, Nungwi offers opportunities for snorkeling, diving, and sunset dhow cruises. This area was once a traditional boat-building hub, where wooden dhows were crafted, and you can still learn about this cultural heritage. You may also visit the local turtle conservation project, a rewarding way to experience Zanzibar’s commitment to marine life. In the evenings, Nungwi’s sunsets are legendary—best enjoyed from the shoreline or during a peaceful sail on the ocean.
